Shanghai Airlines Tours (Group) is affiliated to Shanghai Airlines Co. Ltd. It has a director membership at China Association of Travel Services (CATS) and vice chairman membership at the Sub-Association of International Travel Service and Sub-Association of Domestic Travel Service under Shanghai Tourism Association. It is also a member of PATA, IATA, ICCA, ASTA.
SAT (Group), with total assets of 270 million yuan and a business turnover of one billion yuan, has a total registered capital of 100.63 million yuan, of which the parent company's registered capital is 50.09 million yuan.

SAT Group has two sub-companies under its direct administration: The Inbound Tours Company and the Outbound Tours Company; and seven wholly owned or holding subsidiary companies: Shanghai Airlines Holidays Travel Service Co., Ltd., Shanghai Airlines Communications Co., Ltd., Shanghai Airlines Event Management., Shanghai Airlines Personal Overseas Affairs Service Co., Ltd., Shanghai Crane Aviation Travel Service Co. In addition, SAT Group has investment in two other companies that is the Shanghai Aviation Import and Export Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Airlines Travel Hotel Investment and Management Co., Ltd. Over 100 business outlets of Shanghai Airlines Tours and Shanghai Airlines Holidays Tours are operated in different parts of the city. Business scope of SAT Group covers inbound tours, outbound tours, domestic tours, corporate travel and conference and exhibition arrangement, advertisement and communications (editing and publishing Shanghai Airlines magazine), charter plane and air ticket agency, tourist coach service, personal overseas affairs service, overseas labour service and hotel reservation etc.
Since the establishment of Shanghai Airlines Tours, International, the predecessor of the SAT Group, in 1986, it has been among the national "Top 100 International Travel Services" for 13 years consecutively. And in 2005, it ranked 10th in "Top 100" list. Its sub-company Shanghai Airlines Holidays Travel Service ranked 2nd among the national "Top 100 Domestic Travel Service" and was awarded with the title of "tourists satisfaction" for its services. It is the winner of first, second and third prizes in the English group and first prize in the Japanese group in Shanghai's First Tour Guide Speech Contest in 2005. Two of its guides were awarded the title of "National Model Guide" in 2006.
